📱Smartphone Saturday📱: “No longer Craning”

Every Saturday, I put the DSLR away and go out with just my iPhone and explore the city. Smartphone cameras are getting better and better and they allow you to snap a shot at a moments notice, because you never know when The City is going to show you something worth shooting.

For a few months, everyday, I would park my car and walk about 1 mile to the Mission Bay area.  As I walked down Illinois Street, I would marvel at the structures that were on my route, many of them abandoned or broken downAmong these structures were these large cranes at an abandoned shipyard.  These towering pieces of equipment are no longer in use, but have taken on a new purpose...canvas for graffiti.  Such a sight to see.
