In 1906, it was decided to place Mission Bell Guideposts along the great El Camino Real (the “Kings Highway”) and the first bell was placed in LA,. The bells were inscribed, “1769 - 1906,” marking the year of the 1st Mission and the year of the 1st Bell.
This poor woman. It’s such a beautiful day with the vibrant blue sky in the background, what could she be so sad about? Her hands holding her head as she weeps…Does anyone know where this weeping woman resides in San Francisco?
